Rehabilitation Services
NABA’s vision rehabilitation therapists work in-home and on-site with individuals to develop the skills and techniques that facilitate independent living. Skills taught include household management, financial management, personal care and safe meal preparation.

Vision Rehabilitation Therapy
NABA’s vision rehabilitation therapists (VRTs)
provide in-home, one-on-one instruction, allowing legally blind consumers to manage daily tasks and remain independent.
These consumers learn new techniques for ordinary activities ranging from cooking to reading, from telling time to sewing, from using calculators to using washing machines.
Employment Services
NABA’s employment service specialists help clients identify job opportunities, pursue training, and ultimately find jobs.

Low Vision Services
The Dr. Harry M. Judge Low Vision Rehabilitation Center at NABA is dedicated to helping people with low vision to maximize their remaining vision by providing the most advanced devices and professional services.
Youth Services
NABA provides recreational programs for children and teens with vision impairments.
These programs are designed to expose the youth to new and fun activities, and also to give the youth a chance to learn and experience the same recreational opportunities as sighted youth. Adaptations are made to make all activities accessible for those with vision impairments.
