Be a Mock Interviewer
We are in need of interviewers to conduct face-to-face and telephone mock interviews as part of the Placement Assessment. Mock interview partners are instrumental in identifying candidate strengths and areas for improvement which will help the candidate enhance their interviewing skills. Mock interviews also allow our partners a chance to meet the best candidates first.
NABA’s Employment Services provides several employment readiness trainings throughout the year. Currently, NABA offers an adult Work Readiness workshop and two Pre-Vocational programs for teens- one in the summer, and the other over Spring break. We are always looking for guest speakers to share their expertise and/or experience with our students. Whether the topic is about interviewing skills, office etiquette, cover letters, career paths, or self-advocacy, the students really respond to guests who volunteer their time and knowledge during the employment readiness trainings.
