Sean Meek and Kelly Cusack, both of Glenmont, were the top scorers in their age categories, “sophomore” (grades 5-6) and “varsity” (grades 10-12), respectively, at the 18th annual New England Regional Braille Challenge on March 3 at The Carroll Center for the Blind in Newton, Mass. The competition, a national program of the Braille Institute, encourages blind and visually impaired children in grades 2 to 12 to hone their braille skills, which are essential to success in the sighted world. Regional winners will be recognized with family and friends during an awards ceremony on April 29 and have the opportunity to go on to the Braille Challenge finals in Los Angeles in June.

CONGRATULATIONS KELLY & SEAN!!!!
