EYE DOCTORS DONATE iPAD TO HELP NABA LOW VISION PATIENTS

Technology can be very helpful to people with low vision. And so it was generously recognized by local eye doctors who donated an iPad Pro to NABA as a demonstration tool for low vision patients.

Local eye doctors Thomas Bailey, Aida Wakil & David Auringer of the practice Bailey & Wakil in Albany, NY recently donated an iPad Pro to NABA’s Dr. Harry M. Judge Low Vision Rehabilitation Center. Their generous donation will allow patients of the low vision clinic to try-out the low vision reading capabilities of this platform. If the iPad is suitable, NABA can assist with ordering and training of the iPad.

Thank you to Doctors Bailey, Wakil & Auringer!

NABA provides free technology training to people with vision loss on the first Tuesday of every month. To schedule a training, contact Fritz Stafford at mailto:fstafford@naba-vision.org, (518) 463-1211.
